fleebags; fun and functional oilcloth products for busy women "on the fly"
Flee is the brainchild of former advertising account executive-turned entrepreneur, Suzanne Robin.
Spring-boarding from art and management concentrations at Wheaton College (MA), Suzanne plunged into the working world at a New York ad agency, which further developed into a media sales focus after relocating back to Boston in the early '90's.
After years of travel for business and pleasure, her briefcase and default tote bags just couldn't keep up with her busy routine - a girl "on the fly".
She was continuously in need of replacement satchels to lug her loot. And so, after years of developing and selling integrated advertising & marketing plans for various product and service-oriented clients, Suzanne gathered enough business know-how to develop and launch a product line of her own, using oilcloth - a practical and water-repellent fabric reminiscent of 1950's tablecloths.
Thus evolved the growing line she appropriately named, based on the verb to flee - for women with active lifestyles, demanding fun & functional carriers that are lightweight and durable - for work, play & travel.
Today, Flee is flourishing with changing patterns and new product styles from carry-alls to tabletop.
Flee is a Boston based company with a growing direct consumer base throughout the United States and abroad.
